This month we ran an old course with a new twist. This course design was first run in Nov 2016. It was run again in 2020 and 2025. This time, we made the course into a game called Time Warp. Read all the way through to the bottom; there is a second set of data.
Time Warp Briefing:
Objective: Complete the numbered course as fast as possible without faults and earn time warp bonuses for distance challenges which turn back the clock.
Key Points:
There are three time warp bonuses possible on the course. Each is worth a 10-second reduction in your course time. To earn the bonuses, the handler must remain within the containment box during that bonus. The handler may exit the box when not attempting a bonus. There is no penalty for stepping over the line except for not earning the bonus.
No wrong courses will be called during the bonus attempts. No refusals will be called on the contacts. All other standard course faults apply.
Negative times are possible and highly encouraged.
Time:
The course will be wheeled to calculate the course time.
Scoring:
Scoring: Time, plus faults, minus bonuses. (ER7)
Behind green bonus line (#4-#5) = 20 seconds off your time
Behind red bonus line (#14-#17) = 30 seconds off your time
60x90 Course

The above results include both Adept and Intern results.
60x90 Top Dogs Overall
Top Dog: Luna and John Voneschen, 50 bonus, 0 faults, 37.33 sec. Score: -12.67
2nd Place Dog: Ruger and Melinda Doerfler, 50 bonus, 0 faults, 46.7 sec. Score: -3.3
3rd Place Dog: Stellan and Andrea Neisen, 20 bonus, 0 faults, 42.13 sec.
The top dogs were all Intern dogs. Way to go!!!
Comparison with Previous Runs
While the course this month was set up as a distance challenge game, we will also compare the runs to all the previous runs on the course as a numbered course. Now, the results won't be perfect because some of the folks spent time on trying to send. However, it is a chance to get more LPP!
If you want to have fun, you can compare your runs to the previous ones. Did you handle differently?
60x90 Top Dogs on Numbered Course

2nd Place Dog: Frannie and Danielle Pregler, 0 faults, 35.39 sec.
